Nortrell7/7/7 28-day Pill Recalled
Three batches of Barr Laboratories's 28-Nortrel 7/7/7 are being recalled by the Company because of a mix-up in the packaging. Nortrel comes in packages with 7 blue pills on top, followed by 2 rows of 7 peach pills, and a row of 7 white 'dummy' pills. The Company was contacted by 2 women who said that their pills had the white pills on top. Barr has agreed to replace any out-of-order packs, as well as pay for the cost of pregnancy tests necessary as a result of taking these birth control pills. The batch numbers of the recalled birth control pills are 290122001, 290122002, and 290122003. Notrel 7/7/7 packages which do not have a lot number are also included in the recall. For more information call Barr Laboratories at 1-800-222-0190, extention 33302.
