A Visit to the Museum of Menstruation - MUM

Tuesday July 29, 2003
The Museum of Menstruation and Women's Health (MUM for short) is a real favorite of mine. It's full of the history of what women have used throughout time for sanitary protection, advertisments, birth control information, articles, pictures, and more. You will discover things you never knew you didn't know about menstruation at the Museum of Menstruation and Women's Health Don't miss this amazing site!

(1) Nicole says:

I have taken Othro Tricylcen Lo, and Ortho Tri Cyclen…and I”m about to take Yaz.

With Lo- I felt nauseous, and had headaches often. With Orthro Tricyclen I was fine. I never ever had a pimple in my life and now that I am off it— I have them.

Anyway- I am starting Yaz soon because I do have PMDD symptoms.

Do your research. Start out with the lowest dose of hormones possible, if you don’t feel well- Go up.

Start with OTC Lo, and go to OTC regular if you don’t feel well.

Try Yaz if you already HAVE moodswings. If you don’t…and you start taking it, I think (based on what others have said) you’ll experience them.

Anyway there it is. Also, if you have a Planned Parenthood in your area, and don’t have health insurance, they can assist you. They have programs in place for low income men and women (testing, pills, exams). http://www.ppa.org Easy peasy

Be safe and be healthy!

Best of Luck to you all ; )
