Health Risks for Mothers Exposed to World Trade Center Pollution

According to the latest research published in this week's Journal of the American Medical Association and reported by CNN, babies born to women who were pregnant at the time of the World Trade Center disaster were at significantly higher risk
of delivering low birth weight babies. Other factors including age, stress, and cigarette smoking were not seen as significant factors. More follow-up studies are needed to determine how the health of these children may have been affected as they grow up. Full
