hi im 16. i really need help. i woke up yesterday finding a little bump on the left lip the vagina. it doesnt hurt but when i try to press it down it hurts. its kind of hard. i tried to poke it today with a clean pin thinking its maybe some kind of a blister, but nothing came out because the lump is under the skin. please help me someone. i dont want to tell my mum about this its too embaressin. please HELP

Hey!!! I had that problem but I went to the dr & I was okay don’t be scared or anything my dr. Just said it was a bump it could have care from the soap you used a break out sitting on someone elses toilet. But recently I’ve been getting these weird bumps a lil below my panty line but come to find out it was just hair bumps with a lil bit of puss. I was soo freaked but you’ll be fine especially if the bump is dry your ok.

I would atleast tell your mom about it since you stated that there was no puss or anything I don’t think that there is anything wrong but it could be a cyst since it is hard to the touch and nothing came from it and it is still painful. There is nothing to be ashamed from we all learn from other women when we can’t go to our mothers that is perfectly understandable. I think that I would have told my mom with all of these new diseases and treatments that we are unaware of. I would just do some research and try to find out what your symptoms are and if you are still concerned have your mom to make you an appointment with the OB to have a check. hi im 18, a few weeks ago i found a lump at the bottom of my vagina i was too scared too go to the doctors, but the lump got that painful to the point that i found it hard to walk or even sit down. Josie, you cannot catch anything from a toilet seat. Only through oral, anal or vaginal intercourse.

Well i have the answers to most of your questions about the outter lobe of the vagina if it isnt an acyst. If you shave your pubic hairs and cut your skin eventually the tiny little cut will infect its self and then a little bump is created that looks like a cyst it could stay like that for a long time but the cure to that just take a cotton swap hydrogen poroxyde and dab it if you dont see it bubbling it isn’t an infection its something else if it is take a normal bandage and cut it in quarters or whatever works for you so you can cover the area with out any discomfort. ITS NOT WORTH IT. i was lucky but only one child a miracle because of std i laid in bed for 6 months before delivery ,now i still live with the bumps and pain i take med all time infection come and go discharge .don’t delay go today. tell you mom or a parent they know all this before u do. say NO if he cares he will wait believe me SEX is not all u can do.there is nothing else u have but your body take care of it don’t let guy use you .look at this way, are u proud of what your doing if not don’t do it. its not worth it.

i was scared when i had it, my mum new somthing was up… so i did tell her, and it was amazing how comfortable it was to talk about it, my mum got me these feminine wipes and it went away.
im a really clean person, i always wash, but when your on your period it can make your vagina dirty very quickley and thats why my lump went away…

For the past couple of days it has hurt to use the bathroom/ burned. My 14 year old daughter came to me today telling me that she felt a lump on her vagina, i told her if she was comfortable enough to take a picture and show me. She said no. I told her to go lock her bedroom door and look at herself in the mirror. She later came back upstairs with her camera and looked so embarrassed the poor thing. I told her I get that it’s embarrassing but that I have the same body parts as she does. She let me see the pics on the camera which really weren’t overly revealing, she took a close up shot so really all i saw were skin and bumps. I told her to check again in the morning and again after school and let me know if anything had changed better or worse. I told her I would like to take her to the Dr.s and have it looked at, but told her not to worry for now. Told her how brave she was for sharing with me. I’m sorry that not all of you are comfortable enough to go to your moms, but I would def. suggest you see a Dr. this way you can figure out what it is and either way deal with it and for the most part ease your young minds.

Its quite likely the lumps aren’t anything too serious, but you really shouldn’t ignore any lump or bump, you should find out what it is and how to have it treated if treatment is necessary. I know you may feel embarrassed and reluctant to be examined, but believe me a small amount of embarrassment is nothing compared to your good health and peace of mind. Please do take this advice – a nurse or doctor will help you and afterwards you will be so glad you took some action. Best of luck to all.
