Women's Health Forum Visitor Asks: Have you had this procedure performed? If so, was it in a doctor's office or as an out patient? What was your experience with either? Do you have any regrets about you decision to have endometrial or uterine ablation? Would you do it again? What advice do you have for someone considering this procedure? My gyn has recommended the ablation procedure if hormone therapy does not work out for me. He can perform the procedure in his office with oral sedation (Ativan), or as an out patient procedure with IV sedation. What would or did you choose? Why? I am more comfortable as an out patient, but if having the procedure performed in an office setting is relatively simple and painless, I am not opposed." -- Click here to Join this Discussion Now!
