Tanning Booths: Are They Worth the Risk?
Every year more than one million people are diagnosed with skin cancer in the United States. Despite this fact, hundreds of thousands of people routinely visit tanning salons. Are tanning booths safer than outdoor tanning?

Lots of people are vitamin D deficient, too. And Vitamin D has been shown to prevent cancer in general, plus aiding in bone and muscle formation. UV rays damage your skin, sure, but hey, we’re all gonna die. I like being tanned. And I don’t spend my life worrying about every stupid thing, particularly the sun, which humans evolved under. Yet we still exist.
