If I'm Not Pregnant, Then Why Hasn't My Period Started?

STRESS, worrying about being pregnant, a new diet, weight changes, being a teenager still having irregular periods, being ill, or having a new birth control or a new medication.

this is the same problem with me but I’m only 13 and I was suposed to get mine yesterday so y is it late? Is it just because I’m a teen cause this should my 4th time getting it and I’m can’t be pregnent because I will never have it till I’m married so why is it a day late?

you are only 13, you’re definitely not pregnant if you’ve never had sex. and you won’t always have it on the same day. you’ll have to wait a while before you can really say which day you’ll start. i’m 17 and i can’t even say which day i’ll start

I’m 15 and have been having my period since i was 11. After a while I worked out the math and figured out that it came every 22 days. This week it didn’t come…It was supposed to be here on wednesday and i finally got it today on sunday. I knew I wasn’t pregnant because I never had sex and won’t till I’m married. I looked it up and it said It could be from Stress(which I’ve had a lot of recently) or increase in exersise (which I’ve also done) so I’m guessing mine was just late from that. If it is only your fourth time Don’t worry about it. When my period first came I had it for six months and then it went away for 3 and then came back again.

im 18, not prego and i would say im stressed a lot but idk how to change it.

I’m 17 i just started having sex in june with my boyfriend an we have always used a condom plus i take acutane and have to have a pregnancy test every month so i know im not pregnant. i am not stressed either. i am over weight and my period is irregular but i still get one every month i just dont know the day its going to come. im also on vyvance and cymbalta and zyrtec but they have never effected my period and today is july 13 and i have not had my period since april whats wrong im so confused

Hey im new, im 14 and me and my bf havent had SEX yet, idk of yet, im not sure. but i have my normal periods and stuff but my stomach has been hurting and bubbly feeling and my vagina has been hurting.. my mom said i havent been drinking enough water but i think i have. its been about 4 months, i dont look lyk im pregnant, ive actually lost weight. could i be pregnant??

I’m 16 I missed my period about two months back then I had one the month after and started again yesterday I have been vomiting early in the morning feeling sick constantly n other words have signs of being preg but I never had sex what could it be?????

i seem to be having many of the symptoms that a pregnant woman would hav. frequent urination, nausea,back pain, weight gain, spotting, but than i took three prenancy tests saying that i am not. am i taking the test wrong or is there something else wrong with me?

hi im 18 I first started having periods at age 11..I was never regular when i was 15 i asked my doctor if it was ok that i wasnt regular. She said yes because i was still young… even after that i was still never regular.the longest ive been without a period was 5 months.. Jumping to the present on Dec.25 08 i started my period and ended it on Jan 1, 2009.. so i figured that i would have one alteast next month well ive NEVER had sex or anythin and the months kept passing and still hadnt have one till Sept. 18, 09… im kinda freaked out because its the longest ive been without one…im really concerned should i go to a doctor or what?? I would like an opinion because in the future i want kids…

I had a baby in sept/08..had my period just fine until april/09 …but i havent had a period since and i took pregnancy test and they were negative..and took a blood pregnancy test in aug/09 and it was negative could ive gotten pregnant since my test?….i also thin i have hormonal probs..i gained quite some weight after i had the baby

Hi, I’m 15. I had my first period when I was 13. I had it monthly for a few months and then my period became irregular (once every 2-3 months) but now I’m 15 and I haven’t had a period for almost a year now (never had sex). I know it’s common to be irregular but could periods this far apart be okay?
