I am disappointed in the title of this article and the description of getting herpes as a “nasty turn”.

This wording only contributes to the stigma that makes it so unnecessarily difficult to cope with a herpes diagnosis.

The curse? That’s very dramatic and only contributes to the stigma.

I like the message that herpes is managable, but you have contributed to the stigma by the language you’ve used.

I completely agree with the others. The initial reaction from anyone reading this article is that herpes truly is a curse, when that is far from the case. Anyone searching for information will again have that stigma forced right in their face. Very poor choice of wording.
