Dr. John Lee (1929-2003) passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, October 17, 2003. Dr. Lee was a courageous leader who stood up against the medical establishment's long and dangerous use of hormone replacement therapy years before the true risks of HRT became evident in the Women's Health Initiative.

Dr. Lee pioneered the use of transdermal progesterone cream and bio-identical hormones. Millions of people followed Dr. Lee's work through his best selling books, talks throughout the world, monthly newsletter, and teachings. Dr. Lee will be sadly missed by the millions of lives that he touched; however, his legacy will continue to grow through those he taught, his books, and the continuing work of the Progesterone Research Institute.

In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made to the Progesterone Research Institute.
