Weeks of Daily Bleeding
"Has
anyone had cervical cauterization or cryosurgery for
suspected cervical bleeding? I am still having chronic
bleeding after ablation and the doc said she noticed some
inflamed cervical blood vessels during surgery. She said the
cauterization causes a heavy watery, foul discharge for a
couple of weeks and could actually close the cervix with
scar tissue and make surgery necessary to open it up again.
Sounds gruesome to me! I frequently have increased bleeding
after sex and have bled to some degree every day except for
one week since my uterine ablation 12 weeks ago. Am now
trying different Pill. Ideas?" -

Partum - Post Tubal Menstrual Frustration
"Hello...I
am so frustrated! I feel most of the time that the doctors
don't know what they are doing! I gave birth to my son 15
months ago now and since then my periods have been extremely
heavy. But, always on time. Well, in the past 5 months they
have been anywhere from 5 days early to 10 days late. Now I
just guess as to when it will come. They are also so heavy
for the first 3 days I almost can't go anywhere. Then they
last a total of 7 days. I also have extreme cramping. During
the time when I don't have my period I also have cramping
and aching but only on the left hand side, front and back.
It seems to be worse during ovulation. I also have some pain
and spotting after intercourse. They have done almost every
test I know of besides a Laparoscopy and found nothing...I
also had my tubes tied after the birth of my son and I am
constantly asking the doctor if that could have anything to
do with it? She did say while doing the last exam that I had
a friable cervix? Then put me on some vaginal cream which
changed nothing. Please help if you have any idea!" -

"I had
my tubes clamped 5 yrs ago and regret ever doing it. I want
to have them reversed and want to know if anyone knows a
good place here in Florida to have it done. I have had so
many problems since then, and some days don't feel like
myself, the cramping is bad and I even feel nausea. If
anyone has any advise please let me know." -

Bleeding Post Partum
"After
giving birth in Feb 2001 I had normal bleed then it stopped.
Four weeks later I saw GP and was giving the contraceptive
pill to start once my periods had returned. They did the
following week and I have now finished my pack of 21 pills
and have been bleeding constantly for 28 days very heavy. I
want to know if this is the normal situation? My doctor told
me to discontinue the pill and see what happens." -
