Traditional Treatments

  • in early pregnancy, methotrexate is sometimes used to dissolve the pregnancy without harm to the fallopian tubes or other reproductive organs
  • surgery is often necessary when the pregnancy has progressed to the point that medication would be ineffective, or in cases where the tube has ruptured or other reproductive damage has occurred
