Question: Will My Periods Last Forever?

Answer: A common question among teenage girls getting their first periods is whether they’ll have periods for the rest of their lives. Don’t worry though your periods won’t last forever. When you are around the age of 50, menopause will occur. Of course, this is just an average age for menopause. A good way to judge when you’ll experience menopause is to take a look at your family history. When menopause occurs, your periods stop and ovulation ceases which means you can no longer become pregnant.
