Definition: Dysuria is the medical term used to describe difficulty, pain, or burning during urination. Dysuria may be caused by urinary tract infections, inflammation, or other conditions such as interstitial cystitis.
Examples:
Dysuria is frequently the first symptom noticed when a urinary tract infection is present.
