When Did You Get Your First Bra?
I got my first bra when I was 11. I thought I needed a bra. I didn't have the biggest breasts, but they were big enough to have to get one. Everyone in my class had one and I was feeling quite left out.

I was reading a book and my mum had a flick through and it had pictures of bras. She said: "Oh, I think it's time we get you some of them." I was excited! The next day we went shopping and my mum got me 4 padded bras, size 28A (UK). I expected her to get me plain old training bras, but she was so calm and let me pick whatever ones I wanted.
Advice
- Read a book about puberty,it will make you understand more.Wait! Let nature take its course,you're gonna have to get them some time! If you're that desperate for a bra just sit down and have a heart to heart conversation with your mum about how you feel,that's what mums are for. Think to yourself: Do you really need a bra? Do you just want it because everyone else has one?
- For the mums: If your daughter wants a bra, don't be strict and annoyed at her for thinking like that,surely you were like that when you were her age! If she really doesn't need one, tell her in a calm way. Besides, a gals day out shopping for girly things is good.
