When Did Your Embarrassing Menstrual Moment Happen?
My first time, beginning of high school, at the age of 13.
What Happened?
It was the first couple of weeks of my first high school year. The other girls used to talk about their periods, and I felt like I was missing out and really wanted to get my own period. I got my wish, at an awful time.
It was math class when I found myself needing the bathroom, once arriving there I noticed something on my light colored school dress. I was mortified to find red blood stains, luckily I had a pad, but it was too late.
Embarrassingly I had tie my jumper around my waist, dismiss myself from class and make my way to the school office, to be picked up by my mother.
Never again have I worn light colored clothing during my period.
Advice
- Found out a few of my friends had had similar experiences
- Never wear light clothing, unless you know there is no chance of leakage.
