When Did You Get Your First Period?

I got my first period November 3rd 2010. I was at school and saw some reddish brown stuff in my undies. I didn't think it was my period because I had been waiting for it forever, and thought maybe I just wanted my first period so bad that I was making myself believe it.

Where Were You When Your First Period Started?

I was at school, but went to choir after that. I noticed it at choir, and would have put on a pad if I would have believed it, and had one. I never kept any supplies because I never guessed I was going to get it at age 13, since I am a lot like my cousin who didn't get hers until age 16. The next morning I started to believe it and put on a pad.

Lessons Learned

  • Trust your instincts.
  • Always be prepared for your period to start. Just throw a few liners in your school bag or purse.
